Writing Scientific Articles: Hints for Non-Native Speakers

Many researchers whose native language is not English write scientific articles in English and publish them in the English-speaking countries. Many publishers in non-English-speaking countries also welcome writing scientific articles in English. If you have some problems with writing scientific articles in English, try the approach offered below.

Writing in English or Translating?

Researchers writing scientific articles in English advice writing in English at once instead of translating articles. This advice sounds quite reasonable:

• Sentence structure differs much in different languages. Translated texts often look not naturally.
