This page gives information about sources used to prepare a project. Thus, it is very important to know how to reference essays, term papers, and research papers.

First, you have to organize a reference page. Mind that it is the last page of your paper that should have the proper page number. In the center of the page, put the title Works Cited. You should not underline this title or put it into quotation marks.

Now, pass to the most important stage of referencing a paper – writing citations used in the text. Your reference page should not miss any citation mentioned in your text.
So, put citations in alphabetical order. Use double spacing between the entries. But make sure there are no spaces between the lines of the same entry.
